Cape & Islands
My family and I have owned a little beach cottage on the Cape for over 35 years, and before that we used to rent one of the same cottages, and before that, my parents used to rent one of the same cottages when I was a child, so I guess you could say my Cape Cod roots run pretty deep. My children and grandchildren all come to the Cape every summer. The cottage is really our homestead because my husband and I moved them many times when they were young and they had to frequently adjust to new homes, new schools, and new friends. But the Cape cottage was always there, a familiar and much loved constant in their lives, and ours. It should be no surprise then, that the landscapes I have painted most over the years have been of the Cape and Islands. I hope you enjoy them.
